Minor Casualty/ Injuries Service –
Our practice nurses & doctors can offer an initial assessment and treatment, where appropriate, of casualty type injuries as an alternative to attending the hospital A&E department. The service is offered within surgery opening hours.
The type of injuries we can assess/treat are:
· Head Injuries (not requiring sutures) Practice Nurse
· Foreign Bodies Practice Nurse
· Burns Practice Nurse
· Bites or Dirty Wounds Practice Nurse
· Eye Injuries Practice Nurse
