Wool Surgery Charity Fund (Registered Charity Number 900299)
This is a local charity based at the surgery, which raises funds and donates equipment used in the treatment of local people. It was formed originally because of a number of kind and unsolicited donations of funds, which we needed to account for in a proper manner.
Money has been used in the past to provide such items as nursing aids for the disabled, a Nimbus bed (to help nurse very ill patients in their own homes), asthma nebulisers, diabetes meters, operating lights, heart monitors and defibrillators, ECG machines, and an autoclave for sterilising instruments.
Donations to the Trust are always very welcome, and the Trustees would like to record their gratitude to all those who have made the above purchases possible.
